River Shoals Counseling has two convenient locations in the North Georgia Mountain town of Dahlonega and on Historic Green Street in Gainesville, GA. My name is Giovanni Holguin, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing psychotherapy to individuals and couples. I offer sessions in the office, via tele-health, or mobile in the comfort of your home as well. My areas of interest and experience are childhood trauma, depression, men's issues, couples' conflict, and "on-set" emotional response support during film production. I have years of experience working with both men and women survivors of sexual assault, self-harm, and childhood trauma. My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, utilizing CBT, psycho dynamic, and Solution Focused depending on the client's goals/needs.
